WEEKLY QUIZZES
NOTE: The plays in these quizzes are written such that there is one best answer based on the facts and circumstances. Many of the plays have occurred in games although down, distance, yardline, score and time remaining may have been changed to encourage officials to be prepared. In spite of the possibility that some plays may be unlikley to occur in a game, there is value in deriving their rulings. When evaluating a complicated or unusual situation, officials usually come away with a better understanding of the rules. It's the "hunt", not the actual "kill", which is important.
