Team A scores a touchdown as time expires during the down in the 4th quarter to make the score A27-B28. Team B commits a personal foul during the down.
Team A may have the penalty enforced on the try or decline the penalty. The 4th quarter is not extended for a free kick. The penalty is not enforced to start an extra period if there is an extra period.

Team B scores a touchdown as time expires during the down in the 4th quarter to make the score A28-B27. Team A commits an unsportsmanlike foul during the down.
Team B may have the penalty enforced on the try or decline the penalty. The 4th quarter is not extended for a free kick. The penalty is not enforced to start an extra period if there is an extra period.

Team A scores a touchdown as time expires during the down in the 4th quarter to make the score A27-B28. Team A's try is successful to make the score A28-B28. Team B commits a roughing the kicker foul.
Team A may elect to enforce the penalty on the replay of the try and go for two points. Or, Team A may take the point and have the penalty enforced to start the extra period. (8-3-3-b-1)

Team A scores a field goal as time expires during the down in the 4th quarter to make the score A24-B24. Team B commits a roughing the kicker foul.
Team A may accept penalty enforcement at the previous spot and play an untimed down. If Team A accepts the points, then the penalty is declined by rule. Since the score is tied, the first extra period starts on the 25. (10-2-5-d)

Team A scores a field goal as time expires during the down in the 4th quarter to make the score A24-B24. Team B commits a live ball personal foul during the kick.
Team A may accept penalty enforcement at the previous spot and play an untimed down. If Team A accepts the points, then the penalty is declined by rule. Since the score is tied, the first extra period starts on the 25. If the field goal is unsuccessful, Team A will decline the penalty since PSKE applies. (10-2-5-d)

Team A scores a field goal as time expires during the down in the 4th quarter to make the score A24-B24. A dead ball personal foul is committed by (a) Team A; or (b) Team B.
The penalty for the dead ball foul will be enforced to start the extra period. If the offended team has the ball first, they will have the ball on the 12-1/2. If the offending team has the ball first, they will have the ball on the 40. (10-2-5-d)

Team A scores a touchdown as time expires during the down in the 4th quarter to make the score A27-B28. Team A's try is unsuccessful. Team B is offside. Team A then fouls during the dead ball and prior to the ready for play.
The penalty for the offside foul is enforced prior to the retry. The penalty for the dead ball foul is also enforced prior to the retry. The penalty for the dead ball foul would be enforced to start the extra period if there was no retry and there was an extra period. (8-3-5)
