NOTE: After a change of team possession (a) in extra periods and (b) during trys in regulation and extra periods, a personal foul must be flagrant for the penalty to be enforced. Any player who commits a flagrant personal foul, which includes targeting, is disqualified whether or not the penalty is accepted or the foul is part of offsetting fouls.
