QUIZ: WEEK #13

RULING FORMAT: Team (A or B) in possession, down, distance and succeeding spot (example: A 1/10 A40). If relevant, also include other information such as whether the 25 or 40-second play clock will be used, whether the game clock starts on the ready or snap or if there will be an extension of the period.

1. PLAY: 4th/8 B28. The score is A27-B28. Team A is out of timeouts. A8's field goal attempt is blocked by B84. B96 recovers and is tackled on B's 42. B84 is flagged for hurdling (not leaping) the snapper. The game clock shows 0:03 in the fourth quarter.


2. PLAY: 2nd/3 A27. A16 takes the snap and attempts a quick pass to A83 who is just beyond the neutral zone. A16 is hit as he throws and the ball lands behind A16 on A's 23. B72 recovers and advances across A's goal line.


3. PLAY: 3rd/5 B15. Airborne A84 receives a pass and lands on his back on B's 4 where he starts sliding on the wet field into B's end zone. The ball comes loose upon A84's impact with the ground. The ball never hits the ground. A84 does not control the ball while grounded until the ball breaks the plane of B's goal line.


4. PLAY: 3nd/18 B48. A12 rolls out to pass. B44 blocks eligible A88 below the waist from the front on B's 44. A12, seeing no open receivers, tucks the ball on A's 48 and is tackled on B's 46.


5. PLAY: 2nd/14 B24. B44 intercepts a forward pass in B's end zone and advances to B's 12 where he fumbles. The ball is rolling on B's 7 when A88 kicks the ball through B's end zone.


6. PLAY: 4th/5 B15. A6's low field goal attempt is blocked by B44 on B's 13. The ball falls to the ground on B's 13 where A56 picks it up and advances across B's goal line.


7. PLAY: 4th/goal B14. The score is A25-B28. A88 catches a legal forward pass, advances and fumbles on B's 4. A55 recovers the ball in Team B's end zone. B96 roughs the passer. Two seconds remain in the fourth quarter. Game clock?
