QUIZ: WEEK #13


RULING FORMAT: Team (A or B) in possession, down, distance and succeeding spot (example: A 1/10 A40). If relevant, also include other information such as whether the 25 or 40-second play clock will be used, whether the game clock starts on the ready or snap, if ZAP 10 is a factor or if there will be an extension of the period.

1. PLAY: 4th/goal B4. A5's field goal attempt is blocked and does not cross the neutral zone. B96 bats the grounded ball backwards from B's 6. The ball bounces on B's 1 and A77 recovers in B's end zone without the ball touching the ground in B's end zone.


2. PLAY: 4th/10 A20. A8's punt is high and short. B44 is in position to catch the ball on A's 45 when A88 grabs him by the face mask and swings him around. The ball comes down and hits B44 in the back and rebounds toward A's end zone. A68 recovers the ball on A's 37.


3. PLAY: F/K A35. B92 is in position to recover A4's free kick on A's 42 when he is blocked above the waist by A87. The ball hits B92's helmet and is recovered by A82 on A's 43.


4. PLAY: 4th/goal B4. A4's field goal attempt is blocked, lands on B's 2 and rebounds behind the neutral zone. B93 bats the ball backward from B's 6. A85 recovers the ball in B's end zone prior to the kick touching the ground in B's end zone.


5. PLAY: Try B3. A4's kick is blocked. After the ball is muffed by a few players, B44 recovers the ball and advances across A's goal line. While the ball was loose, A66 commits a flagrant personal foul.


6. PLAY: 4th/10 B40. A5's punt is illegally touched by A84 on B's 1 and bounces across B's goal line. A88 kicks the ball back into the field of play with the ball never touching the ground in B's end zone. A86 recovers the ball on B's 4.


7. PLAY: 3rd/2 A38. All ten offensive players (seven linemen) have been set for second. Then, the 11th player, A33, comes off the bench and heads for the formation. At the snap, A33 is on A's side of the ball and moving backward.
