QUIZ: WEEK #6

RULING FORMAT: Team (A or B) in possession, down, distance and succeeding spot (example: A 1/10 A40). If relevant, also include other information such as whether the 25 or 40-second play clock will be used, whether the game clock starts on the ready or snap, if ZAP 10 is a factor or if there will be an extension of the period.

1. PLAY: 2nd/8 A24. A14 scrambles to A's 26 where he throws a pass to A88. B55 pushes A88 out of the way at A's 40, intercepts the ball, and runs to A's 4 where he fumbles. The ball rolls into A's end zone where B66 recovers.


2. PLAY: 4th/6 B46. A3 punts. A87 illegally touches the kick on B's 3. B44 recovers on B's 4, advances to B's 16 and fumbles. A67 recovers and advances to B's 14 where he is downed. A56 commits a personal foul on B's 24 during the punt.


3. PLAY: F/K A35. B44 muffs the ball on B's 4 and the ball rolls into B's end zone. B44 accidentally kicks the ball as he reached for it. The ball rolls to B's 2 and is over the field of play when A88 picks up the ball with one foot inbounds and one foot touching the sideline.


4. PLAY: 4th/12 A8. Score: A28-B22. Quarter: 4th. Game clock: 0:59. A4's untouched punt from Team A's end zone goes out of bounds on A's 40. A67 clips B96 in Team A's end zone before the ball is kicked.


5. PLAY: 3rd/10 A40. A16 is back to pass, is hit and the referee rules a fumble. B94 recovers, advances, is hit on A's 30 and the ball comes loose. A62 recovers while grounded on A's 25. All camera views show that A16's arm was coming forward and B94 was down before the ball came out. B56 commits a holding foul on A's 36 during B94's advance. Reviewable?


6. PLAY: F/K A35. As the kick is rolling on A's 42, A72 blocks B66 above the waist from the front and illegally touches the kick on A's 43. B77 recovers the kick on A's 46 while grounded.


7. PLAY: 4th/4 A26. A4's scrimmage kick is blocked, lands on A's 29 and bounces back to A's 23 where the ball hits A77 in the leg. B96 recovers on A's 22 and advances to A's 2 where he fumbles. The ball hits the goal line pylon.
