2nd/6 B16. B44 intercepts A17's forward pass in B's end zone, fumbles while still in B's end zone and the ball rolls into the field of play. The ball is muffed by (a) A88; (b) B96; or (c) no one and rolls back into B's end zone and out of bounds. |
Safety in (a), (b) and (c). B f/k B20. Team A scores two points. The new impetus is derived from B44's fumble. The ball went from the field of play into B's end zone. It would be a touchback if B44's fumble went out of bounds in the field of play between the goal lines. |
