RULING

1
3rd/8 B30. A85 fumbles. B44 recovers and advances to A's 16 where he fumbles with 0:04 on the clock. A76 recovers and advances for a touchdown. Time expires in the half. Replay: B44 was down before the ball came out.
B 1/10 A16. The game clock is set to 0:04. The clock would have stopped if B44 was ruled down. Team B is awarded a first down and will next snap the ball. The clock will start on the snap.
2
3rd/8 B30. A85 advances to B's 23 where he fumbles with 0:15 on the clock. B44 recovers and advances for a touchdown. The game clock reads 0:05 in the half when B44 scores. Replay: A85 was down before the ball came out.
A 4/1 B23; Ready. There is no timing adjustment since the ball became dead behind the line to gain. Team A could only use a timeout to restore the clock to 0:15 if time expires. If fourth down, the game clock would be set to 0:15 since Team B would take over on downs.
3
3rd/8 B30. A85 advances to B's 21 where he fumbles with 0:06 on the clock. B44 recovers and advances for a touchdown. Time expires in the half. Replay: A85 was down before the ball came out.
A 1/10 B21. The game clock is set to 0:06. The clock would have stopped for the first down. The clock will start on the ready. Team A may take a timeout if they have timeouts remaining.
4
3rd/8 B30. A85 advances to B's 23 where he fumbles with 0:06 on the clock. B44 recovers and advances for a touchdown. Time expires in the half. Replay: A85 was down before the ball came out.
A 4/1 B23. If Team A has a timeout remaining and so elects, the game clock is set to 0:06 and Team A is charged with a timeout. If Team A does not so elect or does not have a timeout remaining, the half ends. The clock would not have stopped if A85 was ruled down.
5
3rd/8 B30. A85 advances to B's 24 where he fumbles with 0:06 on the clock. B44 recovers and advances for a touchdown. B96 commits a personal foul during B44's advance. Time expires in the half. Replay: A85 was down before the ball came out.
A 1/10 B12. If Team A has a timeout remaining and so elects, the game clock is set to 0:06 and Team A is charged with a timeout. The 15-yard penalty is then enforced from B's 24. If Team A does not so elect or does not have a timeout remaining, the half ends. The penalty for B96's dead ball foul would be enforced to start the second half or extra period.
6
3rd/8 B30. Team A is out of timeouts. A85 advances to about B's 22 where he fumbles with 0:06 on the clock. A66 or B44 recovers and advances for a touchdown. Time expires in the half. Team B was offside. Replay: A85 was down before the ball came out.
A 1/10 B22. Ready. The clock is set to 0:06 if a measurement or replay determines that a first down was made. The clock should have stopped for the first down. If no first down, the clock would not have stopped THROUGH PLAY so A's only option is to accept the penalty and play an untimed down. It would be A 3/3 B25. (See 2014 Replay Quiz #2, Play #4)
7
2nd/8 B30. A85 advances to B's 23 where he fumbles with 0:02 on the clock. The ball is muffed by several players and finally rolls out of bounds on B's 18. Time expires in the half. Replay: A85 was down before the ball came out.
A 3/1 B23. If Team A has a timeout remaining and so elects, the game clock is set to 0:02 and Team A is charged with a timeout. If Team A does not so elect or does not have a timeout remaining, the half ends. The clock would not have stopped if A85 was ruled down.
