OFFSETTING FOULS DURING
TRYS (8-3-3-a and 8-3-4-c) EXTRA PERIODS (3-1-3-g-3)

The rules for offsetting fouls during trys and in extra periods parallel Rule 10-1-4. If there are fouls by each team and Team B fouls prior to a change of team possession, then Team B is considered not to to have "clean hands" and the down is replayed. There is no option to accept offsetting fouls when Team B does not foul prior to gaining team possession.
